We are Jon and Beccy and we started Red Dragon 3D Models from our home in Cymru, as a way to help other neurodivergent people after they had made such a difference to our own ADHD family. We curate our models with sensory elements in mind. Each one has a unique texture and of course we like to mix up the colour. 🌈

Jon has extensive knowledge in 3D printing as he worked in some of the first 3D printers in University over 10 years ago. Recently Jon has undergone 2 major brain surgeries and unfortunately had to leave his role in IT. The Dragons and Models have kept his purpose and motivation, helping his mental health with having to stop a career he loved and was passionate about . This makes RD3D much more than just a business! It has allowed Jon to reignite a passion for design with his already big love for tech 🔥.

With Jon's deteriorating health Beccy spends most of her time surrounded by dragons! She adds all the hand painted details that give our models a unique look and brings them to life. Having ADHD herself you will often find each one is painted differently as she likes to give them their own personality. Before this Bec was a fashion designer and sewing teacher, giving her the creativity to make all of our models special, and the reason we have so many accessories.....she tells me everything is wearable! 🤣

We absolutely love our job and who else can say they get to play with dragons and cute creatures everyday?

It's not always been an easy journey with Jon's surgeries, but together we are happy knowing our creation make lots of new friends and most importantly make a difference to the people they go home with. ❤
